# NautilusTrader

> Chapter 10 · GitHub facts 2026-10-22 · Web version: https://finance-agents.dev/projects/nautilus-trader

## What it does

The README describes a Rust-native, event-driven trading engine, with Python as the control plane through PyO3 and async networking through tokio. `Cargo.toml` is a workspace. Members named near the top of that file include `crates/core`, `crates/backtest`, and adapters such as `binance`, `okx`, `hyperliquid`, `interactive_brokers`, and `polymarket`. This list files it in chapter 10 as a deterministic engine an agent can use as an execution substrate. It is not an LLM agent.
